TSA7551B 200W Bluetooth+DSP mono amplifier board with an AudioB plus Bluetooth module that supports Apt-X. TSA7551B is a very flexible DSP/Amplifier combination board. It has perfect class-D architecture(Based on TDA7498E) and the mono channel has 200W power output. This board can be powered by any DC14V-39V power supply. It can be used to drive any 3Ω,4Ω or 8Ω passive speakers. TSA7551B has a smart cooling system, the fan not working in normal case to reduce the noise. Only start when the board overheat.

It's a one channel amplifier board. The only channel are 200W mono output(Bluetooth stereo right and left channel audio mixed in the DSP program). You can pair it with a mobile phone or a computer (etc). Power the amplifier board. Use your phone or PC (etc) to search for a new Bluetooth device. The module will appear as "TSA7551B". You don't need a PIN, pair it and then you can play music.

TSA7551B has a ADAU1701 DSP chip on board. It has a default DSP program loaded. Customers can adjust the gain, bass, midrange and treble in the DSP program. It also has a debug port for Sigima Studio and user can program this module with our USBi programmer to get more functions that include equalization, crossover, bass enhancement, multiband dynamics processing, delay compensation, etc...

TSA7551B are Apt-X and TWS supported. Therefore, Users can stream audio to 2 paired amplifier boards at the same time wirelessly.

Comparison of differences between TSA7551 and TSA7550

 

 

External Button port:

There are 3 buttons on the board that can control the audio volume and play/pause ect... You can connect external buttons easily by using these button control ports.

Pins define:(Check the board backside silkscreen):

  • P/P: Play pause button
  • VOL+: volume increase and forward button
  • VOL-: volume decrease and rewind button
  • 1.8V

Potentiometer port:

There is an Ext POT port on the board. You can connect external POTs (5K~20K) to control the Main volume,treble,middle and Bass. You need to update the DSP program first. This is our POT kit

  1. ADC0- Main volume.
  2. ADC1- Bass volume.
  3. ADC2- Middle volume.
  4. ADC3- treble volume.

 

DSP programming port:

User can load a new DSP program by using the USBi JTAG Sigma DSP programmer

 

 

 

2 boards work in TWS mode. You can also build a wireless stereo system.

 

How to use:

TWS firmware (single board)

  1. Power up TSA7551, red LED slow blink then red and blue LED flash alternately.
  2. Now, your smartphone will be able to find a new Bluetooth device which name is "TSA7551B", connect it. Blue LED flash.
  3. You can play the music now.

 

TWS connection (2 boards can connected together)

  • Master board
  1. Power up TSA7551, red LED slow blink then red and blue LED flash alternately.
  2. Now, your smartphone will be able to find a new Bluetooth device which name is "TSA7551B", connect it. Blue LED flash.
  3. You can play the music now. If you only use one amplifier board, you don't need do the following steps.
  4. Long press S1+S3 button for 1 second, board into TWS master mode. Red and blue LED flash alternately.

 

  • Slave board
  1. Power up another TSA7551, red LED slow blink then red and blue LED flash alternately.
  2. Long press S1+S2 button for 1 second, board into TWS slave mode. Red and blue LED flash alternately.
  3. The master board will auto searching (30 seconds) slave board. Both master and slave board will be connected.
  4. The slave board will have music out now.
  5. If you want to disconnect TWS connection, long press S2+S3 button for 1 second to disconnect TWS connection.

 

Party firmware (single board)

  1. Power up TSA7551, blue LED flash 3 times per cycle.
  2. Double click S3 button, TSA7551 into pairing mode. (Voice: Pairing, blue LED flash 2 times per cycle.)
  3. Now, your smartphone will be able to find a new Bluetooth device which name is "TSA7551B", connect it. (Voice: Pairing successful, blue LED flash 1 time per cycle.)
  4. You can play the music now.

 

Party connection (multi boards can connected together)

  • Transmitter board
  1. Power up TSA7551, blue LED flash 3 times per cycle.
  2. Double click S3 button, TSA8800 into pairing mode. (Voice: Pairing, blue LED flash 2 times per cycle.)
  3. Now, your smartphone will be able to find a new Bluetooth device which name is "TSA7551B", connect it. (Voice: Pairing successful, blue LED flash 1 time per cycle.)
  4. You can play the music now. If you only use one amplifier board. You don't need do the following steps.
  5. Press S2 button, board into transmitter mode.(Voice: Broadcast mode)

 

  • Receiver board
  1. Power up another TSA7551, blue LED flash 3 times per cycle.
  2. Press S3 button, board into receiver mode.(Voice: Broadcast audio enabled)
  3. Double click S2 button on transmitter board, double click S3 button on receiver board, the transmitter board will auto searching (30 seconds) receiver board. Both transmitter and receiver board will be connected.
  4. The receiver board will have music out now.
  5. If a new TSA7551 want to join as receiver board, repeat step1~step3 on the new TSA7551 board.
  6. If a receiver board wants to quit, click S2 button on that board to set it into transmitter mode.
